Reverend Norman Douglas 


Born in Los Angeles, California and grew up in Akron, Ohio.

Active in University of Akron Newman Campus Ministry (Newman Apostolate) 1965-69

Graduated Magna cum Laude - University of Akron, 1969, Bachelor Degree in English.

Entered Borromeo Seminary in fall of 1969.

Ordained a priest for the Diocese of Cleveland, June 1974

Master of Divinity Degree from St. Mary Seminary.

  • Co-founded with Larry Vuillemin in 1990 Heart to Heart Communications, a community catalyst for personal and spiritual development as a foundation for enriching workplaces.

  • Facilitates with lay leaders a four-evening mission, God Revives Our World, offered in 64 different parishes in the Cleveland Diocese and across the country.
  • Facilitates with lay leaders a three-evening mission New Wineskins (Going Deeper into Our Catholic Tradition & Spirituality), offered in 11 parishes.
  • Served as a retreat master for many faith based retreats, including three for the Diocese of Cleveland deacons and their wives, one for the Diocese of Phoenix deacons and wives, and one for the priests of N. Dakota.
  • Fr. Norm has facilitated retreats and workshops in over 140 companies, agencies, education institutions and faith communities and has been a keynote speaker at work related and civic gatherings.
